Resilient Village is building a transformative program designed to connect opportunity youth, Black and Brown communities, and intergenerational partners in Metro Atlanta with sustainable food practices, land stewardship, and civic engagement.
Intergenerational program that connects youth and elders through storytelling, gardening, and oral history. Participants meet weekly in community spaces, parks, and gardens to share meals, plant and tend the earth, record life stories, and explore resilience across generations. The program culminates in a community showcase celebration featuring stories, art, and reflections gathered throughout the journey.
Minds in Motion is a Resilient Village summer program that exposes students to the beauty and history of local and national parks in Alabama. Each week, youth explored outdoor spaces, learned about nature and heritage, and engaged in creative reflection activities.
